Dr. Geoffrey Cowley over the past 35 years has been CEO of major corporations in Africa, Russia, UK and the Middle East,. He has advised several governments on economic growth and expansion and has been a Senior Advisor to the World Economic Forum. 2006 to 2009 he was CEO of SMR, the Mining Division of a Russian investment group, Basic Element, followed by a period as interim CEO of Kinross Gold’s Russian business before becoming CEO of Maple Minerals Corporation (2009), a private Canadian base metal company. In December 2010 he was appointed CEO of White Tiger Gold Ltd.
